  • LASA
  • Lively Magnet School

No. ƹƵISD does not provide transportation for out-of-district students. The parents/guardians of out of district students are responsible for their child’s transportation to and from school.

All parents must do is to make sure the district has the correct primary address of the students on file. If your primary address has changed, you will need to contact your school’s registrar to have it updated in our student information system.

We automatically import students’ information into our transportation software nightly and we assign them per eligibility policy to the nearest secondary school to the students primary registered address.

Families are welcome to access our “Bus Stop Finder” system on our website to view their stops. The 2025–26 school year stops will be available effective the first week in August 2025. Visit our transportation website for more information.

Families are also welcome to submit their questions to or by calling our main transportation line at 512-414-0238 (Hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m.).

Students will be assigned to the nearest secondary school stop to their primary registered address with the district. However, families are welcome to contact the transportation department directly at 512-414-0238 if they would like to use a different hub location that may serve them better.

New bus route and bus stop information will be posted on our website the first week of August 2025. Please visit our student transportation services website to find current route information.

Magnet/choice bus stops are not designed to be within walking distance for students. The hub stops are centralized locations where students from a general area can gather to take the bus to their chosen magnet school.

Families are responsible for making arrangements to get their child to and from the designated hub location.
