Elementary, Middle, and High School Dual Language Application Process

To enroll in »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµISD¡¯s Dual Language Program, visit the district¡¯s enrollment system at the link below. For help with enrollment, call 512-414-SEAT (7328) on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

How to Enroll: Enroll Austin 

  • When choosing a school, look for the option that includes the school name along with "Dual Language."
    • Example: You may see options like "ABC School" or "ABC School Dual Language"¡ªselect the one with "Dual Language" if this is your choice.

Access to the Dual Language Program is open to all students and does not depend on race, creed, color, religious affiliation, age, or disability. 

Elementary

  • The Dual Language Program is open to all elementary students interested in learning in more than one language.
  • If your child is identified as an Emergent Bilingual (per Texas Education Agency criteria), they are automatically eligible to enroll in the Dual Language Program at their home school. Families may also apply for a transfer to another campus if it better meets their needs.
  • Admission for non-Emergent Bilingual students will depend on available seats at their home school or another campus. To gain the full benefit, students are encouraged to stay in the program throughout elementary school.
  • For non-Emergent Bilingual students in grades 2-5, it is recommended that they have grade-level or near-grade-level skills in Mandarin, Spanish, or Vietnamese before joining. We encourage families to contact the campus directly for more detai
