The »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵISD community will be coming together Saturday to help build picnic tables to support outdoor lunches and learning.
Students are at lower risk of COVID-19 transmission when they eat or learn outside, so »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵISD organized the event for community members to help build tables for campuses to use as outdoor lunch or learning spaces.
»Æ¹ÏÊÓƵISD is expecting about 30 volunteers who will work in an assembly line to create the tables. Tables will be prioritized for campuses in areas with the highest COVID-19 rates in the city.
Masks will be required at this event.
