What: ƹƵISD, ƹƵCouncil of PTAs and ƹƵPartners in Education will host “Fantastico,” an event to celebrate families and community engagement. The event is an opportunity to honor volunteers, parent leaders and community partners who give their time, talent, and energy to strengthen ƹƵISD schools.
AISD, along with ƹƵCouncil of PTAs and ƹƵPartners in Education, want to recognize some of our many outstanding campus mentors, campus volunteers, PTAs, campus partners and more.
ƹƵISD Board President Geronimo Rodriguez will be the keynote speaker.
The celebration will announce winners of:
• PTA of the Year
• ƹƵPartner in Education Coordinator of the Year
• Campus Volunteers of the Year
• Campus Mentors of the Year
• Campus Parent Ambassadors of the Year
• Campus Partners of the Year
When: 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15.

ƹƵCouncil of PTAs
ƹƵCouncil of PTAs is a membership organization made up of PTA Presidents, Principals, and ACPTA Delegates at schools within the ƹƵISD area. The Ausitn Council of PTAs have general membership meetings and provide trainings, workshops, board orientations, and many opportunities to connect with other PTA leaders, the district, and the community in Austin.
ƹƵPartners in Education
ƹƵPartners in Education focuses on ƹƵISD’s schools located in under-resourced communities and serving predominantly economically disadvantaged students, APIE delivers innovative, volunteer-driven academic and mentoring programs. APIE’s 1,550 volunteers work with students at pivotal junctures in their education, providing a vital extension of academic and social/emotional support to students.
